Ghonta provides Bridge Multiplayer. This policy explains how the game processes your data.
Local play does not require an account. For online play, Firebase Authentication processes your account email, display name and Firebase user ID. You can sign in with Google or an existing email/password account. Email passwords are sent directly to Firebase Authentication over an encrypted connection; our multiplayer server does not receive them. These are account-linked data, not anonymous identities. We also process your chosen username, profile, friend requests and relationships, game results and scores. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics process app interactions, app-instance and installation identifiers, device and app information, crash reports and diagnostics to understand usage and fix failures. Service providers also receive network information such as IP addresses; Analytics may derive approximate location from it.
We use Google Firebase to provide authentication, profiles, friends, game history, leaderboards and private room recovery. Firebase Analytics measures app usage and Crashlytics reports crashes. Bounded technical diagnostics may include a random installation ID, app version, platform and error category; they exclude cards, room codes, player names, authentication tokens and game state. Data travels over encrypted connections and is processed on Google infrastructure. See https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy. The Android release disables Analytics advertising-ID collection and ad-personalization signals.
During live multiplayer games, your device connects to server.bridge.labs.ghonta.in. The server broadcasts moves and stores private recovery checkpoints in Firebase, including dealt cards, so rooms can recover after a restart. Only the server can read these checkpoints; each player receives only the cards they may see. Completed results are stored to provide history, statistics and leaderboards. Bounded diagnostics may be queued on your device while offline and retried later; they exclude cards, names and authentication tokens.
Game state is saved on your device using SharedPreferences so you can resume an unfinished game. This data stays on your device and is not uploaded unless you participate in a multiplayer session.
Local server audit records are retained for up to 30 days. Recovery checkpoints expire under the room inactivity timeout (two hours by default). The server removes up to 100 expired checkpoints at startup and hourly while running; sleeping or unavailable hosting can delay removal. Firebase game history, profiles and leaderboard entries remain until deletion is requested. Profile > Delete account removes your account, profile, username and social records. You can request deletion without the app, including associated shared-game data, at https://server.bridge.labs.ghonta.in/account-deletion.
Google Firebase and our multiplayer server process data to operate and improve the game. Other players can see your public profile, username, shared game results and the game information their role permits. We do not sell your personal data or show advertisements.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, contact support so we can investigate and delete it. The store listing displays the content rating assigned by the store; it is separate from this privacy policy.
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
To exercise any of these rights, see the Contact section below.
Use Profile > Delete account or visit account deletion requests. Shared completed-game records may remain for other players’ history; contact support to request removal of associated shared-game data. Email ghontalabs@gmail.com for access, correction, deletion or privacy questions.
When this policy changes, we update the effective date above.
